Retoma de propuesta teórica y primera acción: Estrategia 1

Todo parte del deseo de analizar la función del objeto y como esta varía según como la sociedad lo utiliza, modificando la semántica del propio objeto hasta tal punto que la razón por la que este nació desaparece.
Y a partir de ese momento, cuando se coloca un jarrón heredado en una estantería para que tenga el prestigio que se merece mientras se llena de polvo por la falta de uso, el objeto y el sujeto que lo pertenece conforman una identidad única. Una definición de ambos (sujeto-objeto) que se establece por coordenadas de contexto, historia y genética.
Los objetos con los que trabajo son los cotidianos, y para acotar más el campo conceptual, aquellos que guardamos en casa. Porque es este el lugar nuestra identidad mejor toma forma en el mundo ‘objetual’ y porque, en especial, lo que me interesa es la relación entre la persona y el objeto, ya que es el paso por las manos de la persona la que define la vida de ese objeto cuya función se desvirtúa conforme el uso a lo largo del tiempo y las localidades donde se ubica.
Este es un proyecto que se expande por terrenos tanto relacionales como contextuales. Tomo la decision de que todos los estudios tengan lugar en casas de vecinos, la mayor parte de mi mismo edificio. Personas que vivimos en un punto local muy pequeño y sin embargo diferimos enormemente en el estilo de vida y por lo tanto, en nuestra proyección hacia las cosas: los objetos que colocamos por la casa. Por otro lado, la relación contextual del objeto con su entorno: el entorno que cada familia crea es el que influye más eficazmente en el objeto. Yo me he sorprendido mucho al ver abrirse cada puerta, (todas el mismo modelo)y de repente, un mundo diferente se presentaba a dos metros de mi puerta. Desde el olor hasta el orden. Me enseñaban sus cosas, y normalmente, aquello que escogían solía estar expuesto a modo de trofeo. Objetos que han quedado muertos enmarcados pero que, paradójicamente, son a los que primero acudimos cuando respondemos a la pregunta de “¿Cuál es su objeto favorito o con el que mas se identifica?”. He tenido en cuenta también la relación proxémica, es decir, en un caso así, aunque el objeto elegido por los entrevistados fuese uno, el resto de objetos a su alrededor convertían semíoticamente al objeto protagonista en algo mas.
He recibido muchas respuestas, pero también portazos, silencios y hasta insultos. Entonces entendía el compromiso personal y la ruptura con la intimidad que estaba creando al recibirme un extraño en su puerta y dispararle con cuatro cámaras.

It all begins with the desire to analyze the object function and how this varies depending on howsociety uses it, changing the semantics of the object itself so the reason why it was born disappears.And from that moment, when we inherit a vase and place it  on a shelf, so it has the prestige it deserves, while it gets dusty by the lack of use, the object and the subject form a unique identity. A definition of both (subject-object) that is set by coordinates of context, history and genetics.

The objects which I work with are the daily ones, to refine the conceptual field, those that we keep at home. Because this is the best place where our identity is shaped in the  'objectual' world and because, in particular, it interests me  the relationship between person and object, as the objectit is passing through the hands of the person definining its life and distorting its function (according to that usage over time and locations).

This is a project that expands on both relational and contextual grounds. I decided that all the studies were going to take place in my neighbors houses, most of them from my own building. People who live in a very small local point and yet differ greatly in lifestyle and therefore, in our projection to thing: the objects placed around the house. Moreover, the contextual relationship between the object and its environment: the environment is created from each family that influences effectively in the object. 
I was very surprised  to see every door opening, (all of them with the same pattern) and suddenly, a different world was presented two feet away from my door. Differences from the smell to the order. They showed me their things,  which ussually happened to be those exposed like a trophy. Objects that have been killed in a frame but, paradoxically, the  firsts ones we turn to when we answer the question "What is your favorite object or the one you identify yourself the most with?". I considered also the proxemics,  although the object chosen by respondents was one, the other objects transform the object semiotically protagonist into something else/more.
 I received many responses, but also slamming doors, silence and even insults. Then I noticed  thepersonal commitment comes along by  greet ing a stranger at his door and shooting him with four cameras.
